-Stimpy's Pet updates-
ReplyDelete- "Short Roll" [#14.5] and "Orchestral Clash (E)" play during "Slapstick Effects 9" (Ren folds his arms)
- "Timpani - Rolls (M)" plays at the same time as "Send Them Victorious (B)"
- I think "Solo Effects 70" plays at the same time as "Terror"
- "Showtime Fill (G)" plays at the same time as "Rah Rah Rah." It also plays at the same time as "Trumpet Link (A)"
- I think "Suspended Hit (A)" plays after "Slapstick Effects 27" but played in reverse as a reverse cymbal effect ("Poor little Sid is cold, Ren!")
- "Snare Drum - Rolls (D)" plays after Sid says "...and I'm freezin' my tuckus off!")
- "Showtime Fill (G)" plays at the same time as "Taking Up Positions Submix"
- "Showtime Fill (J)" and (I think) "Solo Effects 70" play at the same time after "English Country Garden" (Ren hits Sid with a newspaper)
- "Timpani - Rolls (M)" plays at the same time as "Declamatory Chords" (Sting at the shower drain)
- "Timpani Roll (E)" plays at the same time as "Rough and Ready" ("See here, you little...")
- Reversed "Suspended Hit (A)" plays during "Toyland" (Ren hands Sid a newspaper)
- "Showtime Fill (J)" plays at the same time as "Armed Attack"
- "Suspended Hit (A)" plays twice during the second usage of "Armed Attack" ("Come on, big boy!"/Ren bags Sid)
- "Chinese Roll (A)" plays at the same time as "Anenaiki A"
- "Ghosts" by Richard Myhill plays during "Anenaiki A" and "Berlin 1945 A" as well
- I think "Chinese Roll (A)" faintly plays when it transitions from "Emotion 1" to "Point of Departure A" (Ren frowns)
- "Timpani Roll (E)" plays during "The Pursuit of Evil"
- Reversed "Suspended Hit (A)" plays before "The Pursuit of Evil" ends
- "Chinese Roll (A)" plays twice during "Dangerous E; Eerie Tension B"
- An unknown timpani track plays during "Point of Departure M"
- "Snare Drum - Rolls (E)" plays before "Bright Lights" ("Let's take a look!")
- "Timpani - Rolls (M)" plays at the same time as the last usage of "Armed Attack"
-Ren's Brain updates-
- "String Sustain" by David Farnon plays during "Set to Pounce" (Stimpy's lab)
- "Timpani Roll (E)" plays during "Drama Link (B)" (Brain is shocked)
- "Short Roll" [#14.5] and "Orchestral Clash (E)" plays at the same time as "Our Summer Affair A" (Stimpy wants a quality brain)
- "Orchestral Clash (A)" plays at the same time as "Devils Ride" (Stimpy brings Ren into the lab)
- "Timpani Roll" by Sammy Burdson plays during "Devils Ride" (Monkey hits the pipe)
- "Orchestral Clash (A)" plays after "Timpani Roll" ("Mr. Robo" is revealed)
- "Large Sound" by Eric Allen and "Harp Gliss 1" [#19] play after "Olympus (A)" (Shot of Ren's brain)
- "Harp Gliss 1" [#19] keeps playing when Stimpy says ("Oh, my perfectest brain!")
- "Orchestral Clash (A)" plays during "Romeo & Juliet Overture" ("I've dreamed of this for years!")
- GEMA lists "Gates of Hell" (I'm assuming by Will Thompson and Trevor Nightingale from CPM) as playing after "The Menacing Silence (A)" when Ren's brain feels hurt, but it doesn't match what it sounds like in the episode. This track might also just be a sound effect that got mistaken for the track
-"Suspended Hit (A)" plays on the last note of "Mechanical Industrial Underscore"
Checking the GEMA work numbers, the sequence with Romeo and Juliet Overture with Orchestral Clash (a) isn't either of those at all, it's Romeo and Juliet A by John Fox and on the same album as Our Summer Affair A.
DeleteAs for the Bell Hops unknown track, I've had the contents of D-39/40 and D-47/48 for a long time now, and neither of the cues with "Chase" in their titles are a match. (And the Agitato Mechanical on D-39 isn't the same one from R&S either.) Granted, there's a plethora of Hi-Q tracks with "chase" in their title, so who knows how many there really are.
GEMA did at least lead me to another Capitol track in Ren's Brain, that being Space - Eerie Gliss (LM-1H) by Spencer Moore, used before and during Dreamy Ghost and Sublime Ghost.
Ah, that's cool that you were able to find a different Capitol track.
DeleteDid you ever get ahold of D-37/38? That reel has another track named Agitato Mechanical (7-EM-133B) that was also composed by Phil Green
Unfortunately nobody has come forward with any copies of D-37/38 yet. I once thought I had when it was listed for sale on Discogs, but then the person who listed it said they made a mistake and didn't have it. It's entry on Discogs does state that 3 other users on the site have it, but I'm not sure if any of them are willing to part with their copy, nor if the users of the site would particularly like asking to share a recording of the album via DM.
DeleteRen's Brain update:
ReplyDeleteApparently GEMA lists a track called "Screaming Brain" by Chris Reccardi that apparently plays before "Brain Seizure".
It also lists a track called "Gates of Hell" that plays after "The Menacing Silence", but I couldn't find too much information on it
Screaming Brain is likely referring to the weird effects that underlay and follow The Menacing Silence (a).
DeleteGates of Hell is referring to the Carlin track by Will Thomson and Trevor Nightingale, but I don't hear any of it in the scene, even in a short M&E clip of the fight sequence.
