    1. Another many thanks for your continued and great detective work!

  2. Given your aptitude for identifying classical arrangements, do you happen to know which version of Symphony Fantastique was used in "A Visit to Anthony" and "Hermit Ren?" My gut tells me it's among the Carlin Classical versions, because I don't hear the sections in either episode among Bruton's versions.

  3. Love when little mistakes like these make ID'ing classical arrangements even harder than it is, thanks for solving this.

    - Regarding this episode's unknown track, SABAM's cue sheet for this episode lists a track simply titled "Chase" as playing in this episode for 11 seconds, which is how long the unknown track's usage lasts. Since the track sounds very old-timey and low-quality, I'm assuming it's from Capitol Hi-Q. D-39/D-40 and D-47/D-48 both have tracks that are titled "Chase" both by Phil Green. D-39/D-40 has "Agitato Mechanical" and D-47/48 has "Eerie Emotional." Both of these reels are pretty much lost and unobtainable, so there's no way of knowing which "Chase" is the one the episode uses (if either of them is even the track at all). To me, it would most likely be the one on D-47/48, (3-PG-190B), since this episode also uses "Eerie Emotional"

    1. I have one final theory about the unknown Bell Hops track: It's most likely from William Loose.
It sounds really similar to his other dramatic tracks like "Mechanical Industrial Underscore" (C-53) as well as his other "Chase" cues on Hi-Q reel D-19/D-20 composition style-wise

    2. It could very well be Loose's work, if only someone could come forward with the right reel.

I've also found some other odds and ends on GEMA from some pre-Magical Golden Singing Cheeses episodes.
      - The Big Shot: The acoustic music when Ren is cradling the Gritty Kitty bag is probably "Muddy Lullaby" by Charlie Brissette and John K..

      - A Visit to Anthony: "Dramatic Atmosphere C" by Mladen Franko is used when Anthony's dad says "These are the hands of a working man!"

      - Son of Stimpy: According to GEMA, the arrangement of "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" that Ren sings to was done by Charlie Brissette.

      - A Yard Too Far: The Tchaikovsky Nutcracker flute arrangement is "The Nutcracker - Ballet Suite Op 71A -Dance of the Mirlitons" from Carlin Classical, not Sonia.

      - Jimminy Lummox: An original piece by Chris Reccardi called "Psycho Bass" is used when Ren says "Of course..." and when he insists he's not getting mad. Between these, "The Waiting Silence" is briefly overlaid with "Voices from the Deep" by Dave Hewson when Ren says "and he knocks me down."

      - Bass Masters: "Timpani Signal 1 [#44]" by Sammy Burdson briefly plays over the end of "Police Car Chase" when Wilbur Cobb heads for the boat dock.

      - Hard Times for Haggis: Gema lists "Scotch Wrap" by Chris Reccardi as the second track on the list. Given this one is largely in order, this Reccardi track is likely the drums that overly "Dorinda Mc Clure" during the title card. "Into the City" is listed before "Haggis Walk," entirely likely that the guitar bit heard on the far shot when the cartoon fades back in is a separate composition not part of "Haggis Walk." Finally, "Psycho Bass" is used again, playing before and during "Erotic Nightmare."

      - It's been listed here forever, but despite GEMA and SABAM listing it, I still can't seem to figure out which Harp Gliss variation is used in Ren's Bitter Half.

      - I believe Eric Allen's "Ominous" is used again in "Hermit Ren," overlaying "Approaching Evil" when Ren destroys the dummy.

    3. After listening back to it, I've changed the arrangement of Stars and Stripes Forever in Stimpy's Cartoon Show back to Graham De Wilde's arrangement, as comparing the two it sounds nothing like Erik Markman's arrangement, plus the last note is identical to De Wilde's.
